Meet Melanie Guerra...

"Whether capturing a personality or emotion, the vibrance of a business, the perfection of a beautiful room or showcasing a great product, I see the world around me in terms of light and captured moments – and often the tiniest details become the focus of a larger story. In addition to my career in photography, I am an accomplished jewelry designer, and I think that perhaps this attention to detail stems from this work."
Melanie Guerra is an award-winning photographer specializing in business, portrait, and real estate photography. She enjoys sharing her passion through teaching the art of photography to adults and children of all ages. Melanie exhibits her Fine Art photography in galleries nationwide. (CLICK HERE to see where her work will be next - and where it has been!)
Additionally, she has been designing jewelry for nearly 30 years, and her work has been in shops, galleries and museums across the country. Prior to devoting her professional life to her creative interests, she worked in marketing and promotions in various industries. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Emerson College and certificates from the Gemological Institute of America and Rhode Island School of Design.
She lives in the Boston area with her husband, daughter and a giant goldfish named Mango (seriously, he's huge!). She enjoys travel, live music, outdoor adventures, throwing dinner and cocktail parties for friends and family and reads 52 books each year (one per week). She is a member of the Fashion Council at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; a “Guardian of Glacier” at the Glacier Conservancy; and Co-Chairs (with her daughter) her local chapter of Dignity Matters.
